"not for canada - australian in disguise" (for-canada)

In the mid-2000s, Holden decided to make their own Outback/Allroad/Cross Country competitor. The Adventra was the result. It was a complete flop, especially compared to the similar, but more SUV-like Ford Territory, which was made until Australian Ford production ended late last year.
Holden also made around the same time a 4-door Ute called the Crewman. Why? Because fuck you, that’s why.
“But wait! What if I want BOTH the Crewman and the Adventra in one car?!” You may scream at your computer screen, and mid 2000s Holden has you covered in the form of the Crewman Cross 8.
Probably the closest to a traditional pickup that a car-based ute has come.

Its a Ford Falcon Fairmont from Australia. With a RTV (rugged terrain vehicle) conversion. Basically Australia’s version of a crown vic.

Haha! I’m from Australia, I know a lot more about Falcons than Crown Vics :P
I was pretty sure the RTV only came in ute form that’s all. But if it is indeed a conversion, that makes sense.
Why the hell are people taking their Falcons over such terrain? Damn Westerners
